We believe we can succeed at doing amazing things to make life better for billions of people. Yes, today we are a small bootstrapped company. We have no outside investment and we are still in our early stages. As such, we are reliant on the most affordable tools we can find to compete and service you. The platform we sell on charges huge percentages on chargebacks and refunds. This is money lost in processing that you or us never benefit from. As a result, we’d prefer to do a second attempt at getting it all right and providing you with what you like while losing a minimal amount by providing it back to you in grocery dollars.
For our events, we plan and order food/groceries according to people committed. Planning is a very long and eventful process. We are happy to help you sell your ticket or credit you towards our next event. We only offer grocery credits if it is more than a month away from the event that you have to cancel.
This allows us to stay in business and provide you with the full value of what you’ve spent. As we grow, as our success expands, we will be able to afford to offer better options. Without growth, we have to do the best with what we have.
