
I don’t think Carrot cake would exist if it weren’t for the holidays. I have a feeling the history of carrot cake involved someone wanted something sweet and opened up the fridge and saw a bunch of carrots.
Either way, we have this awesome Carrot Cake recipe from Betty Crocker to share with friends and family for the holidays.
What you’ll need:
- Sugar
- Vegetable oil
- Eggs
- All-purpose flour
- Ground cinnamon
- Baking soda
- Vanilla
- Salt
- Carrots
- Walnuts
For the Frosting:
- Cream Cheese
- Butter or margarine
- Milk
- Vanilla
- Powdered sugar
- Nutmeg
