Mobile application for food shoppers raising seed funding

An Austin entrepreneur is developing a mobile application designed to enable food shoppers to eat better while saving money.

Lauren Foster, the CEO of Stretch Recipes Inc., is raising capital for the application that generates a shopping list using discount coupons based on the budget amount and recipes entered into the application.

Foster, a Chicago native, launched on July 15 a crowdfunding campaign to raise $25,000 on Indiegogo Inc.’s website. The campaign has raised $3,700 and expires Aug. 14. (Continue Reading)
